The biggest mistake people make when buying leather is to think that “low maintenance” means “No maintenance”. Leather is a natural product and like human skin can dry out, harden or even crack if neglected. Leather needs to be cleaned regularly (1-2 times per month) and a deep clean and condition every 6 months, as a minimum. In warmer countries you will need to increase this maintenance schedule to every 3 months to protect your investment.
